I took my husband there this morning for a difficult extraction. Kate, Lauren, and Dr. Herman attended us. Handsome made it very clear that he did not want to be in that chair. They took his needle phobia seriously. They showed us nothing but kindness and compassion, doing everything they could to make him comfortable. The extraction didn't take long and we were out in just over an hour. Handsome has had no ill effects. If the time comes we have to get another tooth extracted, we will be back.

I’ve been going to Herman Family Dentistry for many years now. I’ve been having dental issues for several months now and Dr. Eric Herman has gone above and beyond to help me. He’s gone so far as to text me on his day off on the weekend to check on me and research my issue. I’d personally recommend Dr. Herman to everyone. He has an amazing personality as well. Thanx so much for being the BEST dentist and friend.

Amazing - I seen Dr. Herman for years and even after moving out of state five years now, I’ve had to contact to get info about work getting done in the new place. Dr. Herman and his team helped out providing information to help my new dentist with my case. Amazing service and great work!

First class office with a first class Team. Staff are always cheerful and caring. The hygienists are very good. Dr. Herman is conscientious and caring. Definitely recommend them.

They have been up front over cost and adjusted to times as I have needed. They have a call list that frequents times that open up to work in sooner. The staff is great from the time you walk in to the time you leave.

Herman Family Dentistry is quite the experience! They really keep up with the modern advances in the industry. I have had the opportunity to see all three dentists and they are all wonderful. You can’t go wrong! The office is very nice and clean and the staff are always pleasant and smiling. I wish we would have made the switch sooner.

Dr. Schenk wears Juicy Coture. What does that have to do with dental work? Who's to say really...but she smells really good while she's working on your teeth!!! LOLIn all honesty this place is fantastic. They go above and beyond, and this is the the first place I've been to that actually really, really, really cleans your teeth. Everywhere else kind of does a halfway job. Dr. Schenk does STELLAR WORK. SHE IS THE ONLY PERSON I TRUST WITH BRIDGE/DENTAL WORK.Update: I absolutely love everyone that works here! Just had an experience with Herman first hand today.... WHAT A KIND, INTELLIGENT INDIVIDUAL. He explored every angle on the braces both of my children are getting; prices, kinds, and similarities/differences.I will be starting at SIU School of Law next year, but I will gladly make the drive from Carbondale to Vincennes to come to this place. You can always find another dentist, but the family atmosphere grows thinner and thinner these days. I am blessed that I found this place... and I think you will be as well!

Went there today with an infected tooth. Being a new patient was not sure I would get in. Got me in right then. Was very pleasant and set an appointment to get my tooth fixed. I highly recommend them.

I am so happy a coworker recommended your office to me when we relocated to Vincennes. I just had an old crown replaced and I am very happy with the results. The procedure was painless and the results were great. No annoying cold sensitivity for month like I had with the previous crown and a great fit.Dr. Herman also saved the day for my husband who had an implant complicated just before we came to Vincennes that fell out a few months after we were here. Your office didn’t have the correct tool for the brand of implant he had but you networked with other dentists and borrowed the tool so you could reinsert my husband’s tooth. Thank you for the great customer service and your clinical expertise!,

I am not inclined to give 5 star ratings unless I feel it is justified. I have had four previous dentists in my 70 plus years, and many dental procedures. I recently discovered I needed extensive dental work so I researched several dentists I chose Dr Herman , not only on reviews but mainly his educational accomplishments and accreditations.I find going to a dentist a stressful event and I was nervous going to my first consultation. But Dr Herman is so easy to talk to and I felt very comfortable asking all my questions. I was never rushed. He explained the procedures in terms I understood and possible options. After the consultation, I met with a staff member who went over the costs and options. Again there was never any pressure nor did I feel obligated to proceed. But I did choose to Dr Herman because I was impressed with his expertise and his office staff. They were extremely courteous , helpful and well trained.I am halfway finished with my dental plan, which has included an extraction, 2 implants and a new bridge. I am very satisfied. I highly recommend Dr Herman and his staff. As an added bonus, Dr Herman shares his experiences of being a child with 7 brothers and sisters and living on a farm. He also includes stories of friends!! I truly enjoyed and appreciated his humor, humility, wit, and ability to make a person feel comfortable and at ease. But mostly, I appreciated his dental care. He and his staff deserve a 5 star rating.

I hate going to the dentist, but here didn't feel like a dentist at all, the staff r simply awesome and very gentle, they take thier time and make sure to answer to all of ur needs. I love this place and cant wait to go back.

I don’t normally do Google reviews, and I only have experienced Dr. Schenk as a patient, but she did a great, painless job on my root canal, and she’s just really laid back and easy to work with, which is nice in a dentist’s chair.
